Boost Proofing the ICV

The grommet that the ICV sits in is not secured by anything, therefore creating the risk of being a boost leak.
Thankfully, there is a perfectly sized hole drilled with plenty of meat to tap for NPT. You will tap the hole to 1" NPT after removing the grommet (just pull really hard). Once finished, be sure to clean out all plastic shavings that fell into the manifold. Shake out as much as you can then blow out the rest with compressed air.

Thread in your 1" NPT to 1" barb fitting. Make sure to use the thread sealant you purchased mentioned in part 1. If you want, you could go AN instead of barbed but I'm not a huge fan of AN fittings. Tightening either option will be a bit difficult and may require the throttle body to be taken off. When done right, however, you should never have to touch that area again (unless taking everything apart). Be sure orient your clamp in a way that won't interfere with the throttle body. You will use 1" silicone heater hose to make the connections between the manifold - ICV and ICV - charge pipe.

Another benefit to doing this modification is it allows you to relocate the ICV if you wish. It should still be plumbed into your charge pipe after your MAF. I don't have many pictures because I sold my car before being able to do this.

This is another example provided by somebody who did the modifications listed above.
